Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 19, 2026

Agentsorted ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website agentsorted.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our Site or use our services.

By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please discontinue use. Please also review our Terms of Service.

1. About Our Service

Agentsorted is a licensed real estate referral service. We match homebuyers and sellers with licensed real estate agents. We do not act as your real estate agent or broker, provide real estate advice, or negotiate transactions on your behalf.

When we match you with an agent and a real estate transaction closes, we receive a referral fee from that agent — typically 25% of their gross commission. This fee is never charged to you. Our matching recommendations are based on agent performance and fit, not referral fee arrangements.

2. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

When you use our agent matching form, we collect:

  • First name
  • Email address
  • Phone number (optional)
  • Property type preference (buy, sell, or both)
  • Location (zip code or city)
  • Purchase or sale timeline

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our Site, we may automatically collect:

  • IP address and approximate location
  • Browser type and operating system
  • Pages viewed and time spent on pages
  • Referring website or advertisement
  • Device identifiers
  • UTM parameters and ad campaign identifiers

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use the following third-party services that place cookies on your device:

  • Google Analytics 4 — to understand how visitors use our Site, measure traffic sources, and improve our service.
  • Meta Pixel — to measure the effectiveness of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram, and to serve relevant ads to you on those platforms.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may limit some functionality of our Site.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Match you with a vetted real estate agent in your area.
  • Communicate with you about your agent match via email, phone, or text message.
  • Improve our matching process and services.
  • Analyze Site traffic and usage patterns.
  • Measure advertising effectiveness and attribute leads to campaigns.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

4. Consent to Be Contacted (TCPA Disclosure)

By providing your phone number through our matching form, you consent to receive calls and text messages (SMS/MMS) from Agentsorted and the agent(s) we match you with regarding your inquiry. This may include calls or texts to the mobile number you provided.

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Your consent is not a condition of purchasing any property or receiving any service from Agentsorted.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message or by emailing support@agentsorted.com.

5. How We Share Your Information

We may share your information with:

  • Matched real estate agents — we share your name, contact information, property preferences, and timeline with the agent(s) we match you with. This is the core function of our service.
  • Service providers — we use third-party services for data storage (Supabase), email delivery (Resend), analytics (Google), and advertising (Meta). These providers process data on our behalf under contractual obligations.
  • Legal requirements — we may disclose your information if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Agentsorted or others.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information according to the following schedule:

  • Lead data (name, email, phone, property preferences, timeline) — retained for up to 2 years from submission, or until you request deletion, whichever comes first.
  • Analytics data — retained per the policies of Google Analytics and Meta. Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months by default. Meta retains event data for up to 2 years.
  • Server logs — retained for up to 90 days for security and troubleshooting purposes.

You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at the address below. We will process deletion requests within 30 days, subject to any legal retention obligations.

7. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. International Data Transfers

Your personal data is stored and processed in the United States through our service providers, including Supabase (database hosting) and Vercel (website hosting).

If you are located outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. By using our Site, you consent to this transfer. Where required, we rely on contractual safeguards with our service providers to protect your information.

9. Legal Bases for Processing (EEA/UK)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal data under the following legal bases:

  • Contract: to provide the agent matching service you request, including processing your form submission and sharing your information with matched agents.
  • Legitimate interests: to improve and secure our Site, analyze usage patterns, and measure advertising effectiveness — where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
  • Consent: for marketing communications, analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel), and phone/SMS contact. You may withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legal obligations: to comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes.
